MEANINGS exhibition, Acropolis Museum / Έκθεση ΝΟΗΜΑΤΑ, Μουσείο Ακρόπολης

Opening of the exhibition 'Noemata' (Meanings) at the Acropolis Museum, displaying the ancient Greek vase `Meidias hydria`, which is on loan from the British Museum for the first time in 250 years, in Athens, Greece on December 5, 2023. The Meidias hydria it depicts a series of mythological scenes such as Castor and Polydeuces and Hercules in the Garden of the Hesperides and has been in the British Museum since the 18th century. / Έναρξη της έκθεσης «ΝοΗΜΑΤΑ» στο Μουσείο της Ακρόπολης, στην οποία εκτίθεται το αρχαιοελληνικό αγγείο «Υδρία του Μειδία», το οποίο φεύγει ως δάνειο από το βρετανικό μουσείο για πρώτη φορά έπειτα από 250 χρόνια, Αθήνα, 5 Δεκεμβρίου 2023. Η Υδρία του Μειδία απεικονίζει μία σειρά μυθολογικών σκηνών, όπως τον Κάστορα και τον Πολυδεύκη και τον Ηρακλή στον Κήπο των Εσπερίδων και βρίσκεται στο βρετανικό μουσείο από τον 18ο αιώνα.
